Bronwyn Darné

  • Property Address: 25 Hope Street.
  • Commercial property owner.
  • Property developer.
  • Why I support the CID, "A safer, cleaner, more beautiful neighbourhood provides an environment that is conducive to development and investment. Both of which are key to a sustainable CID. I would like to see lower Gardens reach its full potential through sensitive and socially responsible development that maintains it’s village-like character and that caters and cares for all its residential and commercial inhabitants."

Jonathan Liebmann

Jonathan Liebmann

  • Property Address: 2 Roodehek Street.
  • Commercial property owner.
  • Property entrepreneur.
  • Why I support the CID, "I believe that it’s the responsibility of the private sector to supplement publicly funded services in order to take an urban neighbourhood to a high standard of cleaning and security. Once the CID has established a clean and safe environment for the community, the economic growth helps to drive better conditions for all by creating new employment opportunities and quality public spaces."

Ryan Paterson

Ryan Paterson (Chairperson)

  • Property Address: 15 Glynville Street.
  • Commercial & residential property owner.
  • Start up investor.
  • Why I support the CID, "I want to live in a world class inner city neighbourhood, where I can contribute to its future plans and hold community dedicated people accountable for the quality and enjoyment of our public spaces."
Shaun Rai

Shaun Rai

  • Property Address: 25 Hope Street.
  • Commercial property owner.
  • Property developer.
  • Why I support the CID, "The lower gardens area has found itself in a situation where a lack of safety and security and a general sense of decay characterises the area. A community based organisation such as envisaged by the Lower Gardens CID would result in the community providing on the ground assistance to property owners and the local authorities."

Roxanne Tobias

  • Property Address: 26 Maynard Street.
  • Residential property owner.
  • Actuary.
  • Why I support the CID, "I believe that the Lower Gardens area has lots of energy, charm and potential and that the establishment of a CID, which is a strategic, professional, structured, and sustainably funded function, is the best chance to unearth the potential of the area and create and maintain a neighbourhood and community that is safe, clean, well-maintained, fun, dynamic, friendly and caring. A neighbourhood that we are all proud to live, work and play in"
Werner Uys

Werner Uys

  • Property Address: 121 Buitenkant Street.
  • Residential property owner.
  • Executive Producer at Animation Studio.
  • Why I support the CID, "The Lower Gardens area is a special part of the city with its own unique charm and lots of potential. I believe that setting up a dedicated CID for the area is an important step toward creating a safe and clean neighbourhood. This will attract investment and bring new opportunities to the area, making it a better place to live for everyone."
